chicken, ready-meal, meat, rice, carrots.
-- grill, fry, boil, microwave, roast,
stew, poach, scramble, steam.
2. Script
------
Alex: What would you like for breakfast?
Tebogo: I'll just have a coffee.
Alex: That isn't good for
you. You should eat more before you
go to work.
Tebogo: I'm not going to work
today. Anyway, I don't like breakfast.
I'm not hungry in the morning.
Alex: I'll show you what a real breakfast
is.
Tebogo: I know. I've seen
it before, in Australia. And theUnited
States. How could anyone eat a steak
for breakfast? Ugh!
Alex: Well, I haven't got
a steak. But I've got eggs, sausages,
bacon, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms.
Tebogo: There isn't time to cook
all that.
Alex: Yes there is, if you
help me. And we can have toast with
jam and lots of tea or coffee. And
we can start with cereal or orange-juice.
Tebogo: Is that what's called a full
English breakfast?
Alex: Nearly.
Tebogo: I like a continental breakfast.
I had it in France.
Alex: Yea, that's nice too,
with warm croissants and lots of jam
and coffee - and some fruit perhaps.
Tebogo: Well, if you want
to have your giant breakfast you'd
better hurry.
Alex: Perhaps I'll have it
on Sunday instead. We'll have more
time then.
Tebogo: Yea, and I won't have
to make it. So do you want to make
some coffee now?
Alex: Sure, I'll have one too. Then
I can grab a
sandwich at eleven o'clock.
Tebogo: And I can go back to sleep!
